Pilot Club of Demopolis

 

The Pilot Club of Demopolis was chartered in August 1947.  

Projects include:

 

  • Presenting the Brain Minders Program to all 1st graders in Marengo County and presenting them with certificates of participation and coloring books. 

  • Host a birthday party for nursing home residents in June and at Christmas present them with socks or blankets.

  • Valentine basket raffle in February with proceeds going to the Alabama District TBI Camp held in April at Camp ASCCA.

  • Assist with the local SALT Program for elderly adults once a week. 

  • Provide funding for the Marengo County Project Lifesaver and the Child Advocacy Center.

  • Award two $1,000 scholarships are given to Demopolis High School graduating seniors.

  • We are currently working on reorganizing our Anchor Club.

  • Our newest project will be a Hike/Bike in the spring.

  • Our largest fund-raising projects are the annual Golf Tournament every June and our yearly calendar sales.
