Be a part of one of the fastest growing, most dynamic, fun and exciting youth service organizations in the country.

In 1952, Pilot International chartered the first Anchor Club in Macon, GA. Now in the hundreds across the United States, the Bahamas and Japan, Pilot International is committed to making Anchor Clubs the premier youth service organization in the country.

 

Anchor Clubs exits to provide volunteer services to those in need. Heed in the call to:

 

"Do More, Care More, and Be More"

 

Anchor Club members are....

 

Anchored in Community - With volunteer projects as diverse as the schools and communities in which they are found, Anchor Club members take action where trey are needed most; right in their own communities!

 

Anchored in Leadership - Through affiliations with national partner organizations and Pilot International, Anchors learn and develop rewarding leadership skills and a service-minded heart. Anchors are afforded countless service opportunities including the annual Alabama Anchor Convention, the Anchor Leadership Summit and events on Capitol Hill where Anchors can learn about government and lobby on behalf of global issues.

 

Anchored in Friendship - Anchor Club service is more powerful when you volunteer with friends, old and new. Serving as part of an Anchor team creates rewarding and fun-filled experiences.

 

Anchored in Benefits - Anchor Club membership is a stellar addition to any resume or application. Additionally, Anchor Club membership allowa eligibility for possible scholarship funds awarded by Anchor's parent organization, Pilot International.

DO MORE, CARE MORE, & BE MORE

in your school and in your community every day!

A is for ALTRUISM

Anchors participate in altruistic activities through selection, organization and participation in various service projects both in their schools and their communities.

 

N is for NOBLE PURPOSE

Anchors discover that it is always more rewarding to give than to receive. Through in-school activities and service projects, Anchors find their own Noble Purpose - their individual gifts and talents - and learn how to use it for the betterment of all.

 

C is for CITIZENSHIP

Anchors assume leadership roles within their club and are given the drive and experience to become better citizens in their schools and communities.

 

H is for HONOR

Anchors are honorable people - honest and fair, showing integrity through consistency in their beliefs and actions.

 

O is for OPEN MINDED

Anchors step outside their own comfort zones to view others - and themselves - in a new and kinder light. Anchors are exposed to new environments and new challenges which open their eyes to see the needs of the world around them, and Anchors are equipped with the tools and skills necessary to repond.

 

 is for RESPONSIBLE

Anchors are taught to be responsible for themselves and others through group activities specifically targeted to combat the rising tide of irresponsible behavior such as bullying, drug and alcohol abuse, personal care, gossip, etc.
