The Pilot  Club of Andalusia

The Pilot Club of Andalusia was chartered on April 18, 1947, with 23 members. We enjoy spending time together socializing and giving back to our community. We currently have 43 members and meet the 4th Monday each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Andalusia Chamber of Commerce Community Room.

 Fundraisers include:

  • Our Pancake Day fundraiser, held the first Saturday in December where we serve all you can eat pancakes, made from an original Ollie Brown recipe, and sausage.

  • Another December fundraiser is our Tour of Homes.

  • In the Spring, Andalusians look forward to our “Picnic on the Square”.

Service projects include:

  • “Brainminders”, our largest service project, is where skits are performed at local nursing homes and in elementary schools discussing the importance of brain safety.

  • Bicycle helmets are given to children receiving a bicycle through the Community Christmas program that assists families in financial need by providing toys and clothing for local children.

  • Fidget blankets, made by Pilot Club members, are provided to local nursing home residents and to different daycares and schools for children with autism.

  • We provide funding for bracelets used with the local Project Lifesaver program.
